In Memory of Judith A. Mussfeldt

January 1, 1947 - January 27, 2024

Judith “Judy” Ann Mussfeldt, 77, of Spooner, WI, gained her wings surrounded by her family on January 27th, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Judy was born in Milwaukee, WI to John and Ann Kohn (Jack and Nanny) on January 1st, 1947. She graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in Whitefish Bay, WI in 1965. This is where she met the love of her life Donald Mussfeldt. They were married at Community Methodist Church in Whitefish Bay on August 27th, 1966.

They were blessed with 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Judy was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved watching her children and grandchildren in their many sporting events through the years. She enjoyed planting flowers and making sure her house was always decorated for all the holidays. But her love of Christmas will forever be remembered. She was a lifelong Packer fan and loved watching the MN Wild hockey team. She loved her lunch dates with my dad at Tony’s Riverside here in Spooner where they would enjoy a Bloody Mary (or 2) and share a meal. She and Dad also shared a love for the birds that they feed and watch.

We love you Mom and will miss you. See you at Thanksgiving.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Don Mussfeldt, children: Donald Mussfelt Jr, Andy Mussfeldt (Kim), Ann Wickersham (Gene Ashby), Jenny Danford (Dave), and Pat Mussfeldt (Nikki), grandchildren: Ashley Holzheimer(Darin), A.J. Mussfeldt (Maggie), Brandon Wickersham (Carly Solatycki), Mackaela Massop (Layton Laffin), Alyssa Mussfeldt, Taylor Mussfeldt, and Jace Mussfeldt, great-grandchildren: Braxton, Cash, Ean, Addison, Marlee, and Baker, grandchildren-in-law and great-grandchildren-in-law, and many other friends and family.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and in-laws.

We will be having a celebration of life at Tony’s Riverside 524 S River St, Spooner, WI on Saturday, February 24th from 1pm to 5pm.

On behalf of her family, we want to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and EMTs from Spooner Health System and St. Mary Hospital of Duluth. And we want to thank Bratley-Nelson Funeral Homes for helping with arrangements.
