Joyce Lucille Holmstrom Age 93, of Rice Lake, WI died Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Dove Healthcare in Rice Lake.

She was born on December 17, 1925 in Rice Lake to Lewland and Mildred (Demars) Olson. Joyce attended country school thru 8th grade and then attended High School in Cameron. She stayed with relatives, working in their restaurant during the school year in order to attend High School. Joyce was married to Arthur Holmstrom on Sept. 2, 1944 in Rice Lake. The couple lived in Canton early in their marriage and then lived in Cameron for thirty years, where Joyce worked for Ebner’s Box Factory. After their retirement Joyce and Art moved to Red Cedar Village apartments in Rice Lake, making this their home for twenty five years. She was very active at Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron, was an excellent cook and baker, she enjoyed traveling and was devoted to her family.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Wanda Holmstrom of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Keri; a brother, John “Jack” (Edna) Olson of Janesville, WI; brother-in-law, Buddy Robotka, sisters-in-law, Nancy Olson and Pat Olson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Holmstrom; her parents, Lewland and Mildred Olson; 9 siblings, Lewland “Jr.”, Beverly, Marilyn, Shirley, Donna, Richard, Robert, Gary and Gene.

Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron, WI, Rev. Tamra Harder officiating, with interment in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Wednesday.
