Joseph Harold Puziewicz, age 89, passed away at the Ecumen Nursing Home in North Branch, Minnesota, on October 31, 2023.

Joseph was born to Amelia (Bernat) and Joseph Puziewicz on October 8, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois.

Joseph graduated from Chetek High School and lived in the area most of his life. He was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, conservation, and planting trees. He had a vegetable garden that he tended to. Joseph enjoyed music and dancing, he got into photography as well. Joseph was an avid bingo player, showing up every week for 25 years at the senior center. He helped out at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Chetek as an usher and would drive the former priest around to the other church locations if needed. He was a proud Knights of Columbus member and Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Amelia and Joseph Puziewicz, and brothers, Fred and Patrick Puziewicz.

Joseph is survived by his brother, Walter (Maureen) Puziewicz, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Chetek, Wisconsin, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Noon. Visitation will be held from 11:30 until the time of the service. The family invites those attending to a luncheon in the church fellowship hall following the service. Joseph will be laid to rest at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
