In Memory of Joseph Bilder

January 12, 1952 - January 29, 2021

Joseph J. Bilder age 69, passed away unexpectedly on January 29th, 2021.

To know Joe was to love him. He was one of the most kindhearted, fun loving guys you could ever meet. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Joe grew up in St. Paul, MN and graduated from St. Agnes High School, where he played goalie for the hockey team. From there he went on to build many successful businesses including Bilder Appliance (WBL), Bunkie's and Whiskey Joe's in Siren, Wisconsin.

Joe was an incredible father that always did everything he could for his children. He showed them the importance of hard work, kindness, compassion for others but most importantly not to take life too seriously and to have fun. Often a big kid himself he was notorious for playing pranks and making people laugh. He was humble, simplistic, and just loved having fun and lived life to the fullest. Throughout the years he built a lifetime of incredible friendships. He will be missed by so many, including his little dog, Odie whom Joe loved dearly.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Marie Bilder and brother, Jerry Bilder Jr. (Marcy).

He is survived by his two children, Anthony Bilder and Tammy Bilder (William Neal) and grandsons Dylan and one on the way; his siblings, Dorothy Kicker (Verlyn), Pat Navarre (Jim), Debbie Hamilton, John (Teresa), Thomas (Rebecca) and Mary (Neil). Also survived by Vickie Bilder, mother of his children and significant other, Amy Kopecky; along with other relatives and many dear friends.

There will be no services at this time. His family will be having a Celebration of Joe's life in the summer of 2021.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
