John Kmosena, 101 of Ladysmith, WI, died Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Ladysmith Care Community.

He is survived by: daughters Judy & Doc Bishop of Ladysmith, Lynka Helfman of Montrose, MN, sons Dave & Karen Kmosena and John & Robin Kmosena both of Ladysmith, grandchildren Shane & Sandi Bishop, Kimberly Hakes and Kenneth Crabb, Denise Bishop, Tracy & Dan Renderman, Steven & DeAnn Kmosena, Bradley Kmosena & Aileena Patterson, Samantha Golat and Mike Strong, Randi Golat and Brian Mead, Alan & Erica Golat, DJ & Nici Helfman  and 22 great-grandchildren.

John is also survived by his sister Suzanne Vente of Thomasville, GA, nieces Marjorie Nachowitz and Valerie & Fred Fritzche and nephews George & Nancy Arnold and Steven & Ann Vente.

John was preceded in death by his parents Andrew & Anna Gordon Kmosena, wife Shirley, brothers Andrew and Stephen, sisters Ann, Catherine, Susie and nephew Edward.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig Zandi officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 17th starting at 4:00 P.M. at the church. There will also be one hour of visitation on Tuesday morning at the church starting at 10:00 A.M.

The family would be honored by your presence at JS Supper Club, Ladysmith for a meal and celebration of John's 102nd birthday following the committal service.
Memorial gifts may be designated to the Shirley Kmosena Memorial for St. John's Christian Preschool to be used for scholarships.
