In Memory of John Fahrendorff

November 21, 1932 - May 25, 2020

John H. “Jack” Fahrendorff, 87, of Milltown, WI passed away on May 25, 2020 at the Luck United Pioneer Home.  Jack was born on November 21, 1932 the son of Theodore and Carmen Fahrendorff.

Jack graduated from Milltown High School in 1950.  Jack was in the Air Force for three years.

He met Eloise Koch, of which they married and had four children: Roberta, Evelyn, John, and Karl.  They moved back to the home farm east of Milltown.  Jack loved woodworking and gardening.  He loved to read mysteries and westerns.  He loved to take pictures and wildlife.  He loved his family very much and spending time with his grandchildren.

An annual visit to the Corn Palace was a very important part of his heritage, as his grandparents came from Denmark and settled in that area.  It was an important part of his connection to his heritage.  His grandfather later settled in Milltown and the Fahrendorff farm was developed, where Jack was born.

Jack leaves to celebrate his memory: daughter, Roberta Horning of Milltown; daughter, Evelyn Larsen of Milltown; son, John of Brooklyn Park, MN; and son, Karl (Janine) of Milltown; grandchildren, Drew (Della) Case-Allan, Jay Larsen, Julia (Jake) Erickson, Jenelle (Travis McDaniel) Larsen, Joe (Jessi) Larsen, Tiffany Ostrowski, Jessica Ostrowski, Jacob Ostrowski, and Lexi Anderson; great-grandchildren, Damani, Kamdyn, Jade, Darren, Jasper, Juniper, Ellen, William, Ethan, Ian; siblings, Doug (Judy) Fahrendorff, Claire (Don) Orgeman, Laramie Fahrendorff, and Nancy Laventure; nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Carmen Fahrendorff; brothers, Roland and Frank; sister, Anita; and great-grandson, James.

Jack will be laid to rest alongside his family at the Milltown Cemetery.  A celebration of life for Jack will be held at a later date.
