John "Jack" Curtis, age 96, of Trego, passed away on October 9, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Jack was a proud and accomplished business owner of Lake Area Disposal for 26 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved life, people, and being outdoors. In his spare time he also enjoyed bowling and keeping up his flowers. Jack made a point to compliment others and make connections with his friends and family. One way he practiced this was bringing his family members Poinsettias each Christmas and Easter Lilies in the spring. Those memories will surely be cherished.

Jack is survived by daughters, Kelly (Jesse) Hill and Terry (Ken) Grocke; granddaughters, Tiffany Iorns, Katie Granmo and Rina Grocke; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Dona Curtis; granddaughter, Misty Wickware; twin brother, Robert; and siblings, William, Ed, Howard, Lillian and Marian.

Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Skinner Funeral Home, Shell Lake. Visitation two hours prior. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Madge.

As Jack said when parting with friends, "let's call it a century".
