John Christopher Mitchell, age 73, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on November 24, 2023, in Sioux Creek, Wisconsin.

John was born to Clyde and Margaret (Mann) Mitchell on January 3, 1950, in Lonoke, Arkansas.

John was very talented when it came to airbrush painting. He airbrushed many things, from cars and metal tins to flower and plant pots for his wife. Not only did he enjoy painting cars, but he also loved to restore them. He was also a big outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing. John was a self-taught guitarist and played the banjo as well, he loved to serenade his grandchildren to the best of his abilities. Most of all, John loved and cherished the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.

John will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Margaret Mitchell, daughter, April, and sister, Linda.

He is survived by his wife, Carol (Willhite) Mitchell, son, Matt (Theresa) Mitchell, grandchildren, Jordan Mitchell, Hunter (Mia) Mitchell, Tiffany (Ryne) Cullen, Abby Billon, Mariah (Landon Sweeney) Mitchell, Melanie (John) Delimat, and Wesley Billon, as well as nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
