In 2018-2019 Jody studied Criminal Justice/Police Science at the University of Colorado.

For the past 5 years Jody had been employed at KFC in Hudson, WI. He made many friends there and truly enjoyed it! He was looking forward to retirement and was counting down.

Jody was proud to become a dad and wished he could have spent more time with them. He enjoyed the holidays and spending time with his family. Jody was a happy, goofy, go-lucky kind of guy always with a smile on his face. He has had his ups and downs in life, but still moved forward. He was always willing to help anyone out and didn’t want to burden anyone with his problems. He was kind, compassionate, ambitious, and very knowledgeable.

Jody liked DIY projects, camping, Celtic books, watching movies, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and playing old video and computer games. He also enjoyed older music like Kenny Rogers. Jody enjoyed collecting old video games and consoles, old money, antique, and vintage items. He got that trait from his mother. He was always looking for a deal.

Jody was loved and will be missed by many. He lived by the motto “It’s not what you take when you leave this world. It’s what you leave behind when you go.”

Jody leaves behind his children, Bryton Huebner, MaKaylee and Dylan Huebner of St. Paul, MN; two brothers, Jeff and James Huebner, two sisters, Tammy (Steve) Mehalek and Tanya (Jason) Huebner all of Cumberland; three nieces and eight nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
