Jeffrey S. Stafford, of Barron, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, at the age of 61.

Jeff was born on April 17, 1962 to Harold and Patricia (Barnes) Stafford in Chippewa County. He married Dianne Glaser on December 12, 1981 in Ridgeland.

He worked at Meridian Behavioral Health as a maintenance manager in Sauk Rapids.

He enjoyed spending time with family, helping others, riding horses, snowmobiling, cooking, camping, 4 wheeling, hiking trails, traveling, working on cars, fishing, hockey and having morning coffee on the porch. He also enjoyed coaching Lucas’ baseball team, mission trips and serving the Lord.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Dianne Stafford of Barron; son, Lucas Stafford of Eau Claire; daughter, Abigail Stafford (significant other Ryan); father, Harold Stafford, both of Barron; sisters, Susan Crotteau (Jim Horan) and Ann (Edward) Barnes, both of Cumberland; as well as nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Patricia; and baby sister, Ann Elizabeth.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
