Jeanne Rosemary Stodola Age 80, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday peacefully at home on September 15, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 5, 1943 in Rice Lake to Joseph and Agnes (Evitch) Robotka.

Jeanne worked for Birchwood Lumber and Veneer for many years. In 1961 she was married to the love of her life, Charles Stodola in Birchwood, WI and they lived in Birchwood until the fall of 1996 when they moved to Rice Lake. She enjoyed snowmobiling, going to car shows, traveling and visiting family, finding agates, listening to country music, singing, karaoke and watching the birds. Jeanne loved being with her family and cooking for her family get-togethers.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Melinda (Mike) Weaver and Melissa (James) Anderson; a son, Michael (Misty) Stodola; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stodola; 2 sons, Charles Jr and David Stodola; her parents, Joseph and Agnes Robotka; 2 sisters, Dolly and Dorothy; 4 brothers, Bud, Joey, Frankie and Emil.

A prayer service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Birchwood, WI, with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is serving the family with the arrangements.
