Jayne LaRae Thompson, 60, of Sarona died Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home. She was born July 2, 1957 in Spooner, WI to David and Lucille (Cook) Stoner. She was married in Minong, WI on May 3, 1974 to Dan Thompson

Jayne worked at Wright Products for roughly fifteen years until her health prevented her from working. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird-watching, floating the Namekagon River and the Christmas season. Jayne had a fascination with pigs, and collected all kinds of pig related trinkets. Her greatest and truest joy was spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Dan of Sarona; children: Jason (Crystal) Thompson of Siren, Sarah (Shawn) Knutson of New Auburn; grandchildren: D.J.,Justis, and Kaydence Knutson and Lauren Durand; siblings: Doralee (Don) Roberts of Spooner, David (Kelly) Stoner of Sarona, Michael Stoner of Spooner, Richard (Lee) Stoner of Spooner, Mag (Dan) Lee of Spooner, Bob Stoner of Sarona, Steven (Lindsey) Stoner of Minong and David (Heather) Westphal of Minong.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Gary "Swede" Stoner and Lenora Fox; her nephew, Dan Roberts 

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Cornerstone Church - Spooner with Pastors Andrew and Richard Melton officiating and with visitation for 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
