Janice H. Taylor, age 78, of Hayward, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN.  She was born November 16, 1941 in Forest City, IA, the daughter of Albert and Mildred (Adams) Olson. 

Janice was a school bus driver for the Hayward School District for many years.  She also was a waitress at Robin’s Nest for over 25 years.  Janice enjoyed painting and often traveled and sold her crafts while traveling at shows around the country.  She also liked to read, knitting, crocheting and many other crafts.  Janice loved traveling and often visited family members and friends.  Janice took great pleasure in her grandchildren and great grandchildren visiting her and hearing about their activities and lives.  

She is survived by her children, Norma (Michael) Riehm of Hayward, WI, Vicky (Will) Morrow of Sevierville, TN, Murray (Cecelia) Johansen of Knoxville, TN and Maggie Owens of Hayward, WI; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two dear sister-in-law’s, Ellen Olson and Susan Olson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Johansen; her second husband, Robert Taylor; her three brothers, Marlon, Norris and Ordean; and her sister, Silvia.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2-6 on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Hayward Funeral Home, 15571 W. County Highway B in Hayward.  Interment will be held privately.
