Janice Karen Thompson, age 76, of Osceola, WI passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at Westfield’s Hospital in New Richmond, WI.

Janice was born on December 5, 1946 in New Richmond to parents, Bennie and Frances (Lundgren) Nelson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Thompson; parents; brother, Greg (Ann) Nelson; and brothers-in-law, Nolan Thompson, Dick Nelson, and Harry Nelson.

She is survived by her children, Brian Thompson and Diana (Dan) Connelly; grandchildren, Patrick Connelly, Tasha (Brandon) Thompson, Ben Thompson, and Bradley Thompson; sisters, Gloria Nelson, Beth (Sharon) Murphy, and Susan Nelson; aunt Mary Thompson; special cousin and friend, Ruthie Yuri; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service to honor Janice’s life will be held 1 PM Friday, October 20, 2023 at West Immanuel Lutheran Church, 447 180th Street, Osceola, WI. Visitation one hour prior at church.
