James C. Poppe, age 82, of Hayward, WI died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

James Clifford Poppe was born December 12,1937 in Hayward, WI, the son of Clifford and Juanita “Babe” (Sabin) Poppe.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla; sons Larry (Kathy) Poppe, James (Janell) Poppe, Josh Poppe; daughters Marilyn (Tim) Young, Carol Hamblin, Pam Miller; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Fritz Poppe; sisters Donna (Ralph) Govert, Pat (Dean) Ledbeter, Peggy Carlson; special brother-in-law George Greve; and several nephews and nieces.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Clifford & Juanita; sister-in-law Kris Poppe; and great niece Tanya Poppe.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Hayward Veterans Community Center.
