In Memory of James N. Larson


July 9, 1945 - June 16, 2024

James "Jim" Norman Larson, age 78 of Dresser, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Golden Age Manor in Amery, Wisconsin.

Jim Larson lived his entire life at the farm place near Dresser, WI. He attended Bear Lake School for 8 years and went on to graduate from St. Croix Falls High School. While in High School he was active in FFA and wrestled. Jim always loved working on cars and large equipment. He had many work adventures, Fabritech, over the road trucking, owned and operated a gas station, Trollhaugen and worked as a bus mechanic for St Croix Falls Schools.

Jim hunted, snowmobiled, was a Harley owner, downhill skied, owned a boat and camper and even more. Jim loved to share endless adventure stories with everyone he met.

Despite the fact that his health was declining, he continued to work hard. His many good friends have stayed by his side for all these years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Wilmar and Emelia and brother-in-law Ray Vierow.

He is survived by his sister Eileen Vierow (Arnold Johnson) brother; Larry (Kay), niece; Tracy Larson (Brent Elmer), nephews; Jon Larson (Jina), Dan Vierow, Rob Vierow (Dawn), great nieces; Sarah Elmer (Logan Miller), Addison Vierow, great nephews; Joshua Elmer and Brody Vierow.
