James Kent Roberts, of Dresser, WI, passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 74, surrounded by his family after complications from a stroke.

Jim was born on October 11, 1948 to Leigh and Gladys Roberts in Minneapolis, MN.

He graduated from Moundsview High School in 1966. After graduating high school, he worked several jobs, then worked at ADP in Minneapolis, MN for several years. He decided corporate life was not what he wanted and began his journey of self-employment. In 1972, Jim met Danette, his wife of 47 years, in Hudson, WI. Jim and Danette went on to have five children, Courtney, Sarah, Tim, Vanessa and Leigha.
Jim loved fishing, being outside around the campfire with family, spending time with friends, watching game shows and renovating houses.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom and sister, Marge.

Jim is survived by his wife Danette; children, Coutney (Nathan) Whitney, Sarah, Tim (Sierra), Vanessa (John) Holman and Leigha (Paul) Lukavsky; grandchildren, Katelyn, Selah, Isaac, Violet, Evan, Poppy and soon to be David Whitney, Savannah, Madison, Braxton and Sloane Roberts, Evelyn and Autumn Holman, Ezra and Micaiah Lukavsky; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorials preferred to the family to help aid in medical costs.
