James “Jim” A. MacDonald passed away on April 3, 2025 in Chetek.

He was born on December 17, 1955 to Wilfred and Merlyn (Frisinger) MacDonald in Torrington, Connecticut.

He worked at Jerome Foods in Barron. He loved his “kids” (goats) and the farm life.  Jim loved to travel to historical sites, which took him to several states.

Jim will be truly missed, and memories will live on.

He is survived by his siblings and step-mother, Margaret MacDonald; as well as family friends and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Wayside Cemetery in Barron. Following the graveside service, a memorial service will be held at the Abundant Life Church at 1851 13 ½ 14th Avenue in Cameron.
