In Memory of James E. Czajkowski


May 13, 1941 - July 10, 2023

James Edward Czajkowski, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on July 10, 2023.

He was born May 13, 1941, in Milwaukee, WI to Edward and Jennie (Grabowski) Czajkowski.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Christen (Dave) Hancock; son, Michael Czajkowski; grandchildren, Thomas and Samuel Hancock; brother, Wayne Mordeszewski; sisters-in-law: Louis Czajkowski, and Mary Turzynski; brothers-in-law: Joseph (Ellen) Turzynski, and Paul (Julie) Turzynski; and other family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Timothy

He held several jobs during his lifetime - the last working for the Federal Government. He was in the United States Army Reserve for 33 years - retiring as a Command Sergeant Major.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He liked fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley. James belonged to the American Legion Post 540, the HOG club, and the BASC. He enjoyed teaching Hunter Safety, playing Santa for various organizations, and one of his favorites - arranging motorcycle rides for nursing home residents. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

There will be a private family service at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. For those who knew him, please celebrate him in your own special way. Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Wounded Warriors, or the Marshfield Clinic Hospice.
