Howard L. Schreiber passed away on Friday, March 1st, 2024 from complications following a logging accident on January 27th, 2024.

Howard is survived by his wife of 46 years Julie, daughters Janel Sanderson (Bob, Jr.), Melissa Mautner (Andrew) and Kari Frear (Michael) all of Ladysmith. Grandkids Nadia and Maggie vanDoorn; Taylor and Bristol Ptacek; Breanna, Logan, Zackery, and Waylon Frear; Tyler Sanderson, Spencer and Mason Mautner. Sisters Bonnie Dunn of Bruce, WI, Pam Korzenieski (Steve) of Exeland, WI and Lynette Hoke (Dave) of Knoxville, IA. Sister-in-law Neriman Schreiber (Mickey, deceased) and their two children Claire and Robert from Missouri and many other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Also his dog Copper.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Genevieve Schreiber. Brother Michael and aunts and uncles.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at the VMA Drop Zone starting at 11:00 AM with a light luncheon to follow around noon. Please bring your favorite story to share!
