Her son Carlos reflects, "Throughout my life my mom has been my best friend, and my rock. She was always there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on, and never left my side. Even when times were tough, she always made me feel like part of the family. She was always so wise, caring, and knew what advice to give me no matter what the situation was. I learned many things from her, and I will always be grateful for that. I know she lived a long and happy life, and I know that she is safe up there with my brother."
Memorials are preferred to Bethesda Lutheran Communities.
Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
