Helen Francis Herrmann, age 71 of Hayward WI passed away quietly in her sleep, Monday February 26, 2024.

She was born November 13, 1952, to Henry and Mary Ann Bucheger.

Helen grew up in Butternut, WI and graduated from Glidden High School in 1970. She attended Indianhead Technical Institute Ashland, WI and graduated in 1971.

She was employed in Ashland for several years as a receptionist, then moved to Hayward where she worked as a bank teller, and in retail for several years. After her retirement, Helen enjoyed assisting others at Fran Mar Apartments by driving them to their appointments. She enjoyed craft sales, playing bingo with friends, and was devoted to her family.

Helen was very proud to reign as the Hayward Musky Queen for the 1973 Hayward Musky Festival.

Helen is survived by her children; Charles (Jessica) Tart IV, Allyson (Jason) Rindt, Paul (Kelsey) Herrmann, and 4 grandchildren; Jaxon and Izabella Rindt, and Daisy and Rose Herrmann.

She is also survived by her siblings; Agnes (Jim) Haun, Albert Bucheger, Margie (Jerry) Brown, Carrie Drewel, Rosie (Mark) Schmidt, Steve (Judy) Bucheger, John (Sheri) Bucheger, Alice (Bob) Schuelke, Larry (Eileen Salazar) Bucheger and, sister-in-law, Cherie Bucheger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Ann Bucheger, her sister Evelyn Kosch-Matterer, and brothers Matt Bucheger and Bill Bucheger.

Helen will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
