Hazel E. Trandum, age 81, of Amery, WI, passed away on May 26, 2024 at Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.

Hazel was born on November 26, 1942 in Menomonie, WI to Charles and Ida (Saxberg) Micheels. She was baptized and confirmed E. UB in Wheeler, WI. After graduation, she worked in Amery at Fabri-tec, Electrocraft, and TDC. She also worked as a clerk in Amery establishments throughout the years. Hazel married Stanley Trandum on May 3, 1966. They made their home in Amery.

Hazel enjoyed being with family, bird watching, puzzles, taking care of flowers, and dancing with friends.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ida Micheels; husband, Stanley Trandum; and siblings, Robert (Lois) Fladten, Norman Fladten, Marcie Hawkinson, Gladys (Merlin) Goodell, Billy Micheels, Gloria (Wayne) Lorenz, Helen (Fritz) Peaboday, and Esther Micheels.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Trandum and Don (Deb) Trandum; daughter, Carmen (Mike) Strand; grandchildren, Steven (Janis) Strand, Samantha (Nathan) Gilleland, Nicholas (Brittany) Strand, Ashley (Jason) Draeger, Kyle Trandum, Jack Trandum, Samuel Trandum, and Sophia Trandum; great-grandchildren, Natalie & Keira Roadt, Camilla & Ava Strand, Tristan, Rowen, Flynn, Fletcher and Quentin Gilleland, and Lark Draeger; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Amery, WI. There will be a visitation beginning at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will take place at Faith Lutheran Running Valley Cemetery in Colfax, WI.
