In Memory of Harry Heacox
Harry R. Heacox, age 71, of Chetek, formerly of Barron, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chetek.
He was born on January 8, 1949 to Harry and Fern (Houghtaling) Heacox. He grew up in the Barron area, working at the Turkey Store and also, worked on different dairy farms as a farm hand. In the last few years he had been living in Chetek.
He liked to listen to classic rock music and was a huge movie buff, collecting over 200 dvd’s.
He is survived by his brother, Keith Heacox of Mauston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Heacox.
A memorial service for Harry Heacox will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rausch and Steel Funeral Chapel in Barron with Rev. Mary Anne Conklin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery in the spring.
Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
