In Memory of Gwen F. Haseltine
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwen Francine Haseltine on January 31st, 2025 at the age of 67. Gwen was born on January 27th, 1958 in Rice Lake, to Faith Ann Haseltine.
Gwen was a wonderful sister, a devoted friend, a beloved mother, and an amazing grandmother. She would tell you out of all these titles she held, grandmother was her favorite one. She was so proud of her kids and her grandkids. Always boasting about them to anyone who would listen.
Gwen had three major loves in life cooking, the Green Bay Packers, and her Harley Davidson. She ran a successful business in the 90s in Shell Lake. The restaurant housed a lot of fond memories for both Gwen and her family. A common memory every family member has is Gwen’s cooking. Anytime anyone would go to her house she would ask them what they wanted to eat. It was a passion she shared with both her son and her granddaughters. However, nothing made Gwen happier than riding her Harley.
When you remember Gwen, we hope you remember her fierce love, her infectious laugh, her beautiful smile, and her unwavering faith. She will forever be loved and missed by her family.
Remaining to cherish Gwen’s memory are her siblings: Guy (Sherri) Haseltine, Gloria Meyer, Gregg Haseltine, and Ginger Haseltine; former spouse and close friend, Henry Cook; children: Melissa Cook Brunclik (Jackie Viebrock), Tina Cook Brandt, and Travis (Kelly) Cook; grandchildren: Kelley (Barton) Smith and Harper Cook; great-grandchildren: Hayden and Hadleigh Smith; countless nieces and nephews; as well as her dog, Star.
Preceding her in death are her mother, Faith Ann Haseltine; sister, Gayle Root and her cherished friend, Dennis Pederson.
A Celebration of Life will be held this next summer.
