Gerald “Jerry” Clifford Gilbertson Age 83, of Rice Lake, WI died Friday, November 5, 2021 at his home.

He was born on August 4, 1938 in Richfield, MN to Harlan and Gertrude (Petersen) Gilbertson.

Jerry graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo, MN. Jerry was married to Kaye Williams on June 16, 1954 in Iowa. They owned and operated a utility bucket truck company for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and mowing the lawn (he wanted the perfect lawn). Jerry loved being and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye Gilbertson; a son, Peter (Debra) Gilbertson; a daughter, Karin (Jarrett) Miller; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, James (Florence) Gilbertson; a sister-in-law, Jane (Jim) Lindstrom; 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; and his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Rev. Arthur Bergren officiating.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306
