Gayle Ann Brecka, 85, of Cumberland, WI passed away Monday, June 13, 2022.

She was born October 23, 1936 in Cumberland to Allen and Hilma (Risberg) Peterson.

She married her husband, Milan, in 1960 and they have been together since. Gayle was a longtime elementary school teacher in Cumberland. She enjoyed gardening, and volunteering at the hospital gift shop.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two sisters and two brothers.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 11am-1pm, Saturday, June 25 at Skinner Funeral Home-Cumberland followed by burial at Lakeside Cemetery.
