In Memory of Floyd Keast
Floyd K. Keast, age 78, of Cameron, WI died Monday, August 30th, 2021 at his home.
He was born May 21st, 1943 to Earl & Mildred (Nelson) Keast at Story City, Iowa.
The family moved to Shell Lake in 1958 and Floyd graduated from Shell Lake High School in 1962. He then enlisted in the US Army & served in Vietnam & later Germany until retiring in 1982 with 20 years of service. He then moved back to the Barron County area & went to work for Jerome Foods in Barron until his retirement. He resided at Cook’s Trailer Park in Cameron for the past 20 years.
Floyd was preceded in death by his father, mother: Mildred (Herbert) Erickson, step-sister: Betty Maland & step-brother: Bob Maland. He is survived by his brother: Bruce (Lynn) Erickson of St. Croix Falls, sister: Karen Mickelson of Hugo, MN, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Interment with Military Honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16th at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at Spooner. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
