Evelyn Blanche Dehline, 82, of Cumberland died Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN surrounded by family.

She was born February 1, 1942 in Cumberland to Glen and Blanche (Denham) Christensen, was raised in Cumberland, and graduated from Cumberland High School in 1960. She was married in Taylor's Falls, MN on February 23, 1961 to Winton Dehline.

Ev was a great cook, gardener, and canner, but her source of greatest joy was watching and participating in the lives of her grandchildren, wherever that may have led. She had a true love for others, and always took the time to show appreciation, often by sending cards of encouragement and thanks.

She is survived by her husband, Winton of Cumberland; son, Scott (Valerie) Dehline of Almena, daughter, Lisa (Larry) Durst of Oakdale, MN; 7 grandchildren: Kerri (Eli) Biggs, Aaron Dehline, Lauren (Josh) Thornwall, Jessica (Scott) Hennessy, Sara(Dominic) Hagel, Jenna Durst, and Kendra (Kyle) Stahl; 11 great-grandchildren; nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kerri; brother, Larry Christensen; parents, Glen and Blanche Christensen.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Skinner Funeral Home, Cumberland with Pastor Dennis Wright officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Cumberland. Pallbearers are Eli Biggs, Aaron Dehline, Dominic Hagel, Josh Thornwall, Kyle Stahl, and Thor Bussewitz. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 11:00 am on Saturday.
