Errol was born March 19, 1941, In Hayward, the son of William and Ruth (Grimstad) Pringle.
He had many interests and hobbies that included camping, hunting, hiking, ricing, fishing, and trapping. Errol was an avid Packer fan! He enjoyed making designed walking sticks, leather pouches, and many different DIY handmade crafts and objects. Errol also studied plants and herbal medicine remedies. He made his own tobacco and shared the recipe with others for ceremonial usage. Errol enjoyed learning and listening to stories of the Chippewa culture and traditions which he shared with his children. He was a true outdoorsman, having spent most of his life in the wilderness walking for miles and camping in the woods. Errol was very content with its peaceful serenity and wildlife. He used to say that when he knew his time was coming to an end, he'd move to Alaska and go live off the land and die there. Errol also enjoyed going to rendezvous and traveling abroad to several sightseeing states with his children and then later his grandchildren. After his family, his greatest love was playing the guitar. He was self-taught when he was in his teens and became very proficient over the years. Errol loved country music and Western movies. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
