Elizabeth "Liz" Tessmann, 91, of Almena, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home.

She was born April 22, 1929 in Almena, WI to Ferdinand and Albertina (Schwederske) Hauser. She was married in Milwaukee, WI on May 14, 1957 to Frederick Tessmann who preceded her in death on October 28, 2000.

Liz is survived by her brother, Alfred (Jean) Hauser of Almena; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frederick; siblings: Herman Hauser, Helene Schneider, John Hauser, Hattie Kuck, Martha Brotherson, Olga Pronos, Alma Mackey, and Tina Larson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Hosanna Free Church - Cumberland with Rev. Tom Olson officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Hauser, Jr., Ken Larson, Dave Fall, David Hauser, and Steven Hauser.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. A recording of the service will be available on Facebook Live. Masks are encouraged while inside the church.
