Eleanor “Ellie” Louise Miner Age 89, of Rice Lake, WI, formerly of Independence, Iowa, died Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Rice Lake.

She was born on November 13, 1934 in Walker, Iowa to Charles and Myrtle (Scott) Morris. After Ellie graduated from High School she was married to Lawrence Miner on August 29, 1953 in Buchanan, Iowa.

She was a club manager of a golf course for many years. She enjoyed golfing, cake decorating, crocheting, sewing, and doll making.

She is survived by her children, Larry (MaryBeth) Miner, Michael Miner, JoAnn (Glen) Hile and Patricia Miner; 9 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Miner; a daughter, Mary Miner, a son, John Miner; her parents; 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. – Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. John Catholic Church, Independence, IA, where there will be public visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Independence.
