Eleanor “Mitz” (Anderson) Boss, born on April 27th, 1932, was a beautiful and cherished wife, mother, and grandmother during her incredible 91 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the evening of Saturday, March 16th, 2024.

In 1957, Mitz married her husband, Nick Boss. They lived and loved together for over 66 years. We will remember Mitz for her loving nature and her ability to make anyone smile and feel so special. She was a proud supporter of all her children and grandchildren. Mitz especially loved to watch them in their activities. She was always making sure that everyone was being taken care of. Mitz loved to be with family and was always up for a party, reunion, or a gathering of family. She was a good mother and grandmother who always took care of her children and grandchildren, as she taught and guided them. Mitz loved to cook, bake, and clean. Her favorite past time was shopping. Her favorite store was Herberger’s, and she loved to go to the casino. She would spend her tips from working at the hotel. She had a long and full life. Mitz will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, caring heart, loving embrace, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts and will celebrate her life.

Mitz is survived by her husband Nick; her sons Greg (Star) and Nick (Julie); her daughters, Lori (Ernie), Joan (Dave), and Roxanne; her grandchildren Adam, Stephanie, Eric, Nathan, Tyler, Shawn (Ashley), Jason, Bailey, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Victoria and Nick; and her great-grandchildren Arabella, Oliver, Maci, Logan, Jason, Benjamin, Riley, Niles, and Mila.

A celebration of life service will be held in the Spring at the Couderay Evergreen Cemetery.
