Edward Lee Toft Age 77, of Rice Lake, WI, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in Rice Lake. He was born on March 30, 1947 in Cumberland, WI to Emil and Emma (Just) Toft. Ed graduated from Cumberland High School in 1965 and then he entered the United States Navy and served for 4 years and was Honorably Discharged as an E-5. He attended WITI in Architectural Design and worked in construction for many years. He loved woodworking, watching football and socializing with family and friends.

e is survived by a daughter, Tera Toft (Kevin Vahle); a grandson, Finnigan; significant other, Lorraine Hills; a brother, Paul (Shirley) Toft; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Emma Toft; 2 sisters, Esther Bandli and Ardys Toft.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Friday, August 2, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Rice Lake, with interment in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the church. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
