Edna Lenore Hines, 87, of Cumberland died Monday, November 4, 2019, at her home.

She was born November 5, 1931, at home north of Ellsworth, WI, to Sigvert and Ida (Jenson) Erlandson, was raised there and graduated from Ellsworth High School. After completing her X-Ray Tech certification, Edna moved to Cumberland where she worked for the hospital. She was married in Pine City, MN on August 14, 1964, to Benjamin Hines. After several years with the hospital, she began a long career at Cumberland Telephone, which eventually became Centurylink. Edna was an active member of Augustana Lutheran Church, volunteering as a Sunday School teacher when her children were young.

She is survived by her husband, Ben of Cumberland; two children: Tim of Siren and Kathleen (Rodney) Anderson of Tampa, FL; two granddaughters: Amanda & Rayne Anderson; her great-granddaughter, Adira; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Edna was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Cumberland with Pastor Shane Anderson officiating and burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
