Earnie Victor Ostrom, age 90, of Minong, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Maple Wood Villa in Armstrong Creek, WI.   He was born April 28, 1929 in Minong, WI, the son of Victor and Anna (Henderson) Ostrom.  He was united in marriage to Patricia Lou Gagnon on November 25, 1949 in Minong. 

Earnie proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was stationed in Cuba at the end of World War II.  He worked for the U. S. Postal Service for over 40 years.  He and Pat lived in both Brookfield and Random Lake, WI for most of their lives before retiring to Minong.  He enjoyed the outdoors and both fishing and hunting.  Earnie was a very hard worker who knew how to be profitable fixing up and selling homes and reconditioning other items. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Patricia Lou Ostrom of Minong; his son, Bruce Earnie (Jacqueline) Ostrom of Minong; his grandchildren, Robert Ostrom, Mary Kelling and Jeremy Ostrom; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

In addition to his parents, Earnie is preceded in death by his son, Michael Lee Ostrom; his brother, Earl Ostrom; and his sisters, Adeline Link and Bertha Syrja.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 675 Shell Creek Road in Minong, where visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.  Interment will be private.
