Douglas “Doughnut” Erwin Scheil Age 64, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Rice Lake.

He was born on February 25, 1957 to Erwin and Ilene (Frisinger) Scheil.

Doug graduated from the Barron High School in 1975. He was a truck driver and a welder for many years. Enjoyed fishing and always had a fishing pole in his vehicle and always ready to go for a drive.

He is survived by a brother, Steven (Joy) Scheil of Turtle Lake, WI; a sister, Connie (Vince) Genatempo of Cameron, WI; 4 nieces; and uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Scheil.

A celebration of life will be held from 6-8PM Friday, September 24, 2021 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, with interment in the Wayside Cemetery in Barron, WI.
