November 20, 1948 - May 16, 2018

Doug Smith, 69, of Sarona passed away Wednesday May 16, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.

Doug was born November 20, 1948 to Archibald and Doris (Steele) Smith in Milwaukee, WI. Doug moved to Sarona in the early 70’s where he operated “Doug’s Masonry” for 40 years.  He enjoyed his work and the many friends he made over the years.

Doug was an avid outdoorsman.  He truly loved his hunting and fishing.  His labs “Brio and Holly” held a special place in his heart.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Fay Rummel.

Doug is survived by his wife of 38 years, Terri; a son, Michael Lee of Sarona, and a sister, Doreen Smith of Watertown, WI.

A Celebration of Life will be held June 3rd from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Rummels Tap in Sarona.
