Dorothy Semm Age 89, of Rice Lake, WI, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Barron Care and Rehab.

She was born on February 11, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Herman and Evelyn (Klippa) Ruiz. She was married to Earl Semm on July 11, 1951 in Shell Lake, WI. Dorothy was a secretary for the Shell Lake Hospital for 20 years and then became the secretary for the Director of Nursing. She enjoyed sewing, beading, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Jeanne (Tom) Glessing of Bruce, WI and Shelly Quinn (Mike Matson) of Cameron, WI; 5 grandchildren, Mike, John, Angela, Melissa and Alex; 5 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Semm; her parents, Herman and Evelyn Ruiz; a sister, Dolores Trigona and 2 brothers, Herman and Joseph Ruiz.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, May 20, 2019 at the First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Fred Buth officiating, with interment in the Sarona Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Monday.
