Dorothy "Dee" Harms It is with great sorrow that we announce her passing on August 5th, 2024.

She was born in Drake, North Dakota on March 21 , 1934 and lived to the age of 90. She did many things throughout her life. She taught school, was a medical technician, owned and ran a music store. She moved to Waconia, Minnesota where she met her loving husband, Dennis. They were married on September 3rd, 1955. The two moved to an army base in Arizona for a brief time as Dennis was a First Lieutenant. They then moved to Litchfield, Minnesota and eventually to Rice Lake, Wisconsin. It was there that they put down permanent roots. They were happily married for 39 years until his death in 1994. She loved sewing, reading, entertaining and traveling. She greatly enjoyed decorating every winter for the Angel Ball. When she and her husband built their house, she was the general contractor. She had many talents and whatever she attempted, she did very well. One of her greatest joys was her little dog, Max. They adored each other with all their hearts. Dorothy was a kind and gracious woman who always thought of others before herself. She was a wonderful lady and for those who loved her, she loved them back deeply. Dorothy's love was abundant. Her quick sense of humor will be greatly missed.
