On Thursday, October 20th, Doris Mae Liczkowski (Helm), a beloved mother, passed away in Bullhead City, Arizona. She was ninety years young.

Born to Beauford and Leona Pearl (Abell) Helm, in Calumet City, Illinois; Doris was the 5th of 6 children (Beauford, Donald, Marvin, Loretta and Shirley) growing up in Decatur, Illinois. She was married in 1947 to Edward Louis Thompson in Hammond, Indiana and had 9 children. A long-time resident of Sarona and Madge, Wisconsin; she enjoyed bowling and baking. She is fondly remembered from her time at the Coffee Cup Cafe, Piggly Wiggly, and Food Country.

She was preceded in death by husbands Edward L.Thompson and Norm L. Stark; partners Raymond Jerome Liczkowski and Allen Fay Rummel; and son James Edward Thompson.

She is survived by her children Linda Ann Basham (Jack), Beauford Leroy Thompson, Carolyn Noreen Smith (Les), Brenda Joyce Quist, Deborah Eileen Thompson, Edward Lewis Thompson, Leona Christine Evans, and Richard Keith Thompson; grandson Gary Guy Thompson; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
