Doris Kamrath Age 92, of Rice Lake, WI, died Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in Cumberland, WI.

She was born on February 13, 1931 in the Town of Stanley, WI to Albert and Helen (Berger) Kamrath and lived in that same home her whole life.

Doris attended Meadow Creek School, Rice Lake High School, Barron County Normal School and UW Superior for her Bachelor and Master’s Degree. Doris taught at rural schools and later taught at Riverview and Woodland schools in Barron, WI.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Grace Kamrath and Shirley Kamrath; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Helen Kamrath.

Funeral Services will be held at 2PM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Jon Cluppert officiating, with interment in the Meadow Creek Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the church.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
