Doreen Marie (Curly) Minette, 64, of Chetek died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 after a well fought battle with cancer at Meadowbrook Nursing Home-Chetek. She was born September 26, 1955 in Chippewa Falls to Raymond and Harriet (Charmley) Minette.

Doreen had a passion for music, enjoyed attending outdoor music festivals, and dancing. She loved playing bingo, doing crosswords, swapping recipes, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Angelique Segebrecht; grandson, Mitchel Segebrecht; sister, Gardis Ohlson; numerous cousins, and many other family and friends. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Harriet Minette; and brother, John Minette.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the staff of Meadowbrook at Chetek for their tender love and care for the last eight years.
