Donna Jo Russell (Gilmore), 64, of Spooner, WI, passed away peacefully in her home with her daughter by her side, on February 28th, after a battle with cancer.

Donna was born on November 6th, 1957, in Sparta, WI, to Mary Jo Teasdale and Donald Gilmore.

Donna graduated from Spooner High School in 1875. She spent many years working in the hospitality industry and did it very well, making countless friends along the way. Donna loved to travel and spend time at the family cabin on Spring Lake. She was very generous, loving, and always had great advice. Her contagious laughter was one of a kind, as was she.

Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Suzi Rhinehart; brother, Victor Storandt; mother, Mary Jo Teasdale; and father, Donald Gilmore.

She is survived by her daughter, Destiny Donatell, of Spooner, WI; grandchildren Matthew Mustafa of Danbury, WI, and Raven Donatell of Spooner, WI; brother Andrew Storandt of Inverness, FL; stepparents, Ted and Rae Gene Storandt of Sparta, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held for Donna this summer as it was her favorite time of year.
