Donna Lee Garcia, age 76, of Hayward, died Sunday, February 26, 2023.

Donna was born May 12, 1946, in Fort Sumner, NM, the daughter of Maynard Quaderer and Beaulah Bowers.

Donna was given to her sister and raised by Rev. Dorothy and Oral Malosh. She married Michael Garcia, October 6, 1969. Donna received her GED in Hayward before her oldest son graduated. She worked various positions in Hayward and had a lot of interests and hobbies. Donna had a creative bone and loved her crafting, artwork and really enjoyed painting. She loved her inground swimming pool and enjoyed traveling with her daughter and family on various trips to California, Las Vegas, Graceland and the cruise to Mexico. Donna’s greatest love was her family and enjoyed playing Bingo with them. She wore many hats, and was a stay-at-home mom, adoring wife and wonderful grandmother. Donna spoiled her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved going to garage and thrift sales; whether it was having one or shopping for treasures to share with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Marvin “Rusty”, Tammy, Robert, and Shawn; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sisters LaVonne Diamond, Avis Slattery and Cindy Taylor; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donna was preceded by her husband Mike; all her parents; brothers John Quaderer and David Malosh.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 2nd at Pineview Funeral Service, with a service at 12:00 noon and lunch to follow. Burial will be at Whitefish Cemetery in the spring.

Casket bearers will be Ron Atchison, Rob Garcia, Shawn Garcia, Walker Garcia, James Mathis & Dustin Slattery.
