Donna J. Dohm, 77, of Spooner, WI, passed away on December 23, 2023, in Duluth, MN.

She was born on March 27, 1946 to Sherman and Catherine (Laufenberg) Gates in Milwaukee, WI.

She grew up in Marshfield, WI, and was a proud alumni of Marshfield Columbus Catholic High School. Donna carried her strong faith into all aspects of her life. She then graduated from Spencerian Business College, Milwaukee, WI. She married Jim Dohm on August 8, 1970, and they had two children, Jamie Jon and Jed. She worked as a legal secretary and retired from the Washburn County District Attorney’s office. Donna was a mom first and a hockey mom second, until she became a grandma. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Donna loved sunshine, walks, swimming and above all her family!

Donna is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, Jamie (Katrina) and Jed; grandchildren, Brittany, Braedon, Aaron and Ashton (Elliot); and brother, Ronnie Gates (Caryl). She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Spooner, WI, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Spooner Area Youth Hockey Association.
