In Memory of Donald Dvorak
Donald Clarence Dvorak of Rice Lake died Monday, January 7, 2019 at home in the company of his loving family. He was born August 28,1939 in Rice Lake to Clarence and Lillian Dvorak. He was married at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Rice Lake on June 7, 1958 to Sylvia Demers who preceded him in death on May 11, 2012. Together they raised five children on the family farm. Don hauled milk cans for the Brill Creamery and bulk milk for Gustafson's. He loved to shoot pool, play dirty clubs, shake dice, watch the Brill Millers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
He is survived by children: Connie (Jake) Breunig, Gary (Jane) Dvorak, Karen Holmstrom (Bruce Smith), Kathy (Jim) Weber, Sandy (Doug) Derousseau, all of Rice Lake; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Marian (Harvey) Stodola, David (Laurie) Dvorak and Joe (Jenny) Dvorak; many other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, January 11, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church - Dobie with Father Dave Oberts officiating and burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake, and for 1 hour prior to Mass on Friday at the church. Pallbearers are Bill Marshall, Dave Schwartz, Bob Dahle, Charlie Kinnick, Randy Mireau and Pete Thompson.
Skinner Funeral Home of Rice Lake is serving the family.
