In Memory of Dolores E. Huser
Dolores Ethel Huser, 93, of Chisago City, formerly of Cumberland died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Parmly on the Lake.
She was born February 5, 1931, in Cumberland, to George and Ethel (Parker) Adascheck. She was raised in Cumberland and graduated from high school there. She worked for 3M for several years, then on February 9, 1952, she married Harold Huser in Pine City, MN. They made their home and raised their daughter in Luck, during which time Dolores worked for Duncan Yo-Yo, Luck Greenhouse, and at the Milltown Senior Citizens Center.
Dolores's primary focus was her family, but she spent hours gardening, bowling, and cooking for her family and friends (especially her famous potato salad). She will be remembered for her laugh and her fun-loving nature.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Earl) Nelson of Wyoming, MN; granddaughters, Carrie Peper & Tonya (Tim) Crombie; great-grandchildren: Alex (Abbie) Peper, Jared (Reide) Peper, Addie Crombie, and Josie Crombie; three great-great grandchildren: Jace Peper, Noa Peper, and Wren Peper; other relatives and friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her grandson, Shaun; husband, Harold; her brother, Paul (Phyllis) Adacheck; and sister-in-law, Virginia (Bud) Coyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 25, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home - Cumberland with Pastor Angie Kutney officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Adascheck, Kevin Adascheck, Rodney Coyer, Doug Coyer, Tim Crombie, and Robert Einweck. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
