Diane Leilani Slusher, 85, of Rice Lake passed away on Thursday, September 28th 2023 surrounded by loved ones, at her home.

She was born October 9th 1937 in Youngstown, OH to James and Verna Shreckengosh.

She was married in Akron, OH on April 7th, 1974 to Wilford Slusher. The two went on to spend many happy years together.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wil; five children and two stepchildren, Randall (Kris) Kinnison of Carrollton OH, Pamela Sippel of New Philadelphia OH, Scott Kinnison of Clinton TN, Connie (Pete) Foote of Barronett, WI, Matthew -Joey- (Barb) Kinnison of Andover, OH and Kent (Linda) Slusher of Suffolk VA, Kim LaRush of Andover, OH; 14 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren; brother, Richard (LuAnn) Shreckengosh of Hadley PA; sister, Patricia Patterson of Andover, OH and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by parents, James and Verna Schrekengosh; sister, Loretta Hoon; brother, James Schrekengosh and stepson, Kevin Slusher.

In her younger years, Diane enjoyed Square dancing all over the country, and rollerskating at the Cortland Roller Rink in Ohio. In her later years, she enjoyed playing Bingo with her Bingo family and friends. She also enjoyed going to the Casino. Her hobbies were crocheting, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family and friends!

She will be sadly missed, but we will be reunited in Heaven. We love you Mom, De, Grandma, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend.

In honoring Diane's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

Skinner Funeral Home of Rice Lake is serving the family.
