Diane Kay Jacobson, 61, of Rice Lake died Monday, September 30, 2019 at Indianhead Medical Center in Shell Lake.

She was born December 4, 1957 in Rice Lake to Owen and Judith (Monson) Anderson. Diane graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1976, and earned her certificate in Secretarial Science from WITC in Rice Lake in 1977. She was married in Trinity Lutheran Church, Rice Lake on May 24, 1980 to James Jacobson. While raising her children, Diane became very active with all of their activities including 4-H, marching band and Girl Scouts. She also spent time latch-hooking, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, watching the Green Bay Packers, and fur-trade reenacting. Her most precious time was spent with her family, both immediate and extended.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Jacobson of Rice Lake; children: Leslie (Justin) Jacobson of Platteville and Matthew (Amy) Jacobson of Ashland; grandchildren: Erick, Leif and Lincoln; siblings: Bruce (Jan) Anderson, Karen (George) Berning, and Debby (Tom) Sparish; sister-in-law, Janet Anderson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ron Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake. Burial will be in Meadow Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Jacobson, George Berning, Tom Sparish, Matthew Jacobson, Greg Berning, and Jeremy Miller. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 on Friday prior to the service.
